Welcome to our site!  We are thrilled about the prospect of hosting you next October here in our beloved state of Veracruz and (for those who can afford to stay longer) in Mexico City for the annual Day of the Dead festivities.

We hope that the information found here will be useful in helping you to plan your trip. Please notice the links for “Q & A” which will hopefully answer any of your questions, and “Updates” which will keep you informed of any new developments as we get closer to the event.  Also, in the “Contact” link there is a space for sending any additional questions or concerns -- we will be checking it daily and will respond asap.

For many years now, we have dreamt of a day when all of the people who we most love and appreciate in the world could all be present in one place, and October 26th will probably be the closest we ever get to achieving this in our earthly dimension, even though we hope that such a fiesta might be repeated in a future dimension somehow, someday, somewhere (in the words of the inimitable and recently departed Stephen Sondheim).

Before closing, we wanted to briefly acknowledge the four people who helped to make this website a reality. Huge thanks to our friends Rob Kruger, Trisha Vargas, and Karolina Pasionek for their excellent work in penning some of the texts. And we will be forever grateful to David Martinez, nuestro querido tocayo, for his technical savvy and his unwavering patience and generosity of spirit in helping to blend all the individual photos, articles, videos, colors, and decorative elements into a unified, cohesive, and attractive whole.
